This November, Mile High Squash embarked on our first crowd fundraising event and we are thrilled with the results.We want to thank everyone who participated for making the Pathways to College Campaign such an amazing success for Mile High Squash.

Sixty three MIle High Squash supporters sent out requests on behalf of Mile High Squash to family, friends, and colleagues, personally asking each "friend" to donate $10 to Mile High Squash. These 63 supporters contacted an untold number of people and over 1,074 of  these people made donations to Mile High Squash. We raised $65,709 and received a matching grant for $50,000.00. This is amazing achievement for Mile High Squash and will allow MHS to better deliver on its mission of preparing our students for college. While we asked people for $10, the average gift size wasjust shy of $50; an average that excludes two large gifts that were donated. The money raised, in combination with the matching grant money, comes to $115,709.00 and represents half of the MHS annual budget.

This money allows us: to provide the students with amazing academic support, allow students to travel to squash tournaments (in and out of state), to have students attend summer camps (athletic and academic), to have students visit colleges, to engage in community service events, and to further extend access to all kinds of opportunities for MHS participants. The list goes on and on. The bottom line - we saw our vision come to fruition: myriad people coming together to leverage their relationships and resources for the benefit of others. Thank you for standing up for the students of Mile High Squash and asking friends, family, and colleagues to participate in their lives.
